“Electrifying the Road: 3 Upcoming Tata Electric Cars You Should Know About!”
Tata Motors is making significant strides in the Indian electric vehicle (EV) market, and with three upcoming new Tata EVs in the pipeline, the company is poised to further expand its EV portfolio. Here’s a brief overview of these upcoming Tata EVs:
Updated Tata Nexon EV: The Tata Nexon EV is currently the highest-selling EV in India. Tata has already introduced an upgrade to the Nexon EV, offering two variants: Prime and MAX, with the latter featuring a larger battery pack for increased range. However, the Nexon itself is due for a comprehensive facelift, which will likely be followed by updates to the electric version, including new exterior styling and interior features.
Tigor EV: The Tata Tigor EV is an electric compact sedan and, like the Nexon, is derived from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. While it has been a while since any updates were made to the Tigor EV, Tata Motors may focus on refreshing this affordable electric sedan. Any changes to the Tigor EV may also extend to the Tiago EV, the hatchback counterpart.
Altroz EV: The Tata Altroz EV is yet to be officially launched, but it has been highly anticipated. As a premium hatchback, the Altroz EV is expected to feature a powertrain similar to the Nexon EV. While specific details are still scarce, it’s likely that Tata Motors will introduce the Altroz EV in the near future, potentially with design changes to highlight its eco-friendly nature.
Tata Motors has been a key player in India’s EV market, and the introduction of these new EVs will further strengthen its position. As electric mobility gains traction in India, Tata’s diverse EV lineup aims to cater to a wide range of customers and preferences, contributing to the growth of EV adoption in the country.
