Bulleteer Customs, based in Bengaluru, has ingeniously transformed a 1984 Royal Enfield Standard into an electric bobber, merging the allure of vintage motorcycles with modern electric power.
The custom-built bike retains Royal Enfield’s original chassis and showcases meticulous attention to detail, with a custom battery cover designed to mimic a large engine with chrome-finished fins. While it playfully sports a “Gasoline” label on its tank, this is a fully electric motorcycle featuring a 5 kW rear hub motor and a candy-red battery pack located in the former engine bay, providing a 90 km range on a full charge.
The bike’s styling is eye-catching, with clip-on handlebars, machine-finished wheels, and a unique design that blends cruiser and track-bike elements. Riding posture is reminiscent of a cruiser, with front-set footpegs and far-set handlebars, offering a unique and charismatic riding experience.
Ricky, the creator of this custom electric bobber, estimates that recreating such a bike for customers with an old Bullet could cost between approximately Rs. 3 lakh to 3.5 lakh, excluding the donor vehicle’s cost.
